Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support in terms of facility, administrative and collateral management activities. This role will focus on transactional secured facilities and borrowing bases.
- Perform reviews of term sheets, credit applications, facility & security documentation from an operational perspective.
- At Vice President Level, to assist with the verification and validation of transactions created by junior staff to ensure precise and correct instructions are delivered.
- Ensure that all transactions that are due are processed and that administrative tasks such as renewals of Exceptional Treatments etc are performed.
- Take responsibility for daily liaison with stake holders such as clients, relationship and product managers.
- Review of client drawdown requests, including the analysis of purchase and sales contracts and security documentation.
- Provide technical and operational assistance to all stakeholders including clients, Relationship Managers.
Work Experience and Requirements:
- 7 years’ minimum operational experience within a financial institution or institution familiar or active in the standard Trade Finance suite of products.
- Operational knowledge of transactional secured facilities, borrowing bases and security agent & account, together with operational and administrative knowledge of TPA business.
- Proficient in market standards and practices (e.g. ISP98, UCP600, e-UCP,URDG, Incoterms)
- Knowledge of the requirements and responsibilities of a security agent & account bank role within the Commodity Finance business.
- Additional language skills is advantageous.
